Paige Elton is a Canadian born visual artist based in Vancouver, BC; she is privileged to reside on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Paige works in both figurative and abstraction modes of representation, through mediums including: drawing, painting, digital embroidery, and whittling frames. Notable themes that take place throughout her work are, femininity and gender roles, plants, comedy, anxiety, fantasy, absurdity, and existentialism. She is also very influenced by movements such as neo-expressionism, surrealism and 1960s cartoon art.
Paige has recently graduated from the Emily Carr University of Art + Design with her Bachelor of Fine Art.
