HOW IS THE FESTIVAL GOING TO WORK THIS YEAR?

Artists will be opening their studios for the return of our classic Culture Crawl format.

WHAT ARE YOUR SAFETY GUIDELINES FOR THE FESTIVAL?

We strongly encourage attendees to be up to date on their COVID vaccinations and to consider wearing a mask indoors to protect themselves, artists, staff and volunteers during the festival.

While masks are no longer required in indoor public spaces, artists and studio buildings can choose to require masks on their premises. We kindly ask that attendees follow all respective artists/studio safety guidelines (if any) and be respectful and kind as you consider others’ situations and comfort levels.

You can find our Safety Guidelines for attendees here.

WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL DATES & HOURS?

NOVEMBER 17-20, 2022
Open studio festival weekend

Thursday & Friday 5–10pm
Saturday & Sunday 11am–6pm

Some programming will be delivered online, such as Moving Art and Talking Art. Please check our Events page for complete details.

WHERE CAN I EAT AND DRINK?

You don’t have to go far to find amazing food around the Crawl area. We have a host of great food trucks at Parker Street Studios (including: Chickpea, Melt City, Mollie’s Minis, Green Coast, Bistrovan, Camion Café), at Mergatroid (Henry’s Hip Eats), and at Eastside Atelier (Melt City coffee & pastries). Also, check out our map for some of our other favourites. For drinks, visit the Crawl’s official beer sponsor, Strange Fellows Brewing

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR THE EVENT?

There is no charge to attend the festival.

DO YOU HAVE AN ATM?

There are no ATMs. Contactless methods of payments are strongly encouraged this year. Many artists have electronic payment devices.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

A mask, hand sanitizer, comfortable shoes, water, and an umbrella. Don’t be deterred by a little rain!

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?

Please respect the artists and ask before taking photographs in any studio. Share your photos using our official hashtag #eastsideculturecrawl
