CULTURE CRAWL

Physical Access

  • Building Access: Physical accessibility varies across participating studio buildings. Use the Explore Buildings/Map feature on our website to see detailed accessibility information. Wheelchair-accessible buildings are marked with a diamond symbol (◆). This information is also included in our printed program guide.
  • Service Animals: Welcome at all Culture Crawl events.
  • Transit Access: Transit and route accessibility varies by venue, we encourage visitors to use our building map for planning.
  • Accessibility Services: At this time, we do not provide ASL interpretation, braille materials, audio description, or other visual/auditory accessibility supports. We recognize the importance of these services and are actively working toward building the partnerships and resources needed to offer them in the future.

Financial Access

Culture Crawl events are all free and open to the public.

Digital Access

Can’t attend in person? Our Virtual Preview Week includes Artist Talks and Moving Art programs, which are live-streamed and recorded for later viewing on the Eastside Culture Crawl YouTube Channel.

Gender Inclusivity

Inclusivity is one of our core values. We encourage all participating studio buildings to implement gender-inclusive washroom policies and foster welcoming environments for people of all genders.

Sensory and Neurodivergent Access

We recognize that accessibility we are exploring ways to better support neurodivergent visitors and those with sensory needs, such as providing quiet zones or visual guides in future years.

Language Access

We currently do not offer ASL interpretation, live captioning, or multilingual translation during Festival programming. We acknowledge the importance of language accessibility and are working toward expanding these supports in the future.
