Want to be a part of Vancouver’s largest visual arts event of the year? Join our volunteer team for the 28th annual Eastside Culture Crawl!

 

Our “Crawlunteers” are crucial to the operation of our organization—this year, more than ever. We are pleased to offer an in-person Culture Crawl experience as we continue to connect artists, craftspeople, and designers with the community. Now in its 28th year, the Eastside Culture Crawl offers unparalleled, intimate access for artists and the community to connect through open studio weekends, exhibits, workshops & demos, and artists talks.

 

2025 Festival dates:

 

Open Studios
November 20–23 (Thu & Fri 5–10pm, Sat & Sun 11am–6pm)

 

Please note all volunteers must be 19+.

Volunteer opportunities

AMBASSADORS

Duties this year include:

  • Handing out programs to attendees and studios and providing festival information to attendees across the Crawl territory
  • Counting attendees at Parker Street Studio

FESTIVAL INFO TENT

Duties this year include:

  • Welcoming and directing attendees at Parker Street Studios; giving out information & maps; selling merchandise; handling lost & found items; first aid assistance as necessary

DONATIONS

Duties this year include:

  • Taking tap donations at Parker or Mergatroid Studios, sharing benefits of donating and answering questions during the festival

DISTRIBUTION

Duties this year include:

  • Distribution of save-the-date cards and posters to community gathering spaces in the weeks leading up to the Crawl (October/November)
