Krista Johnson is a Vancouver born and based artist. Her representational paintings are an evolving exploration of colour and light as it exists in the natural world. It is this constant need to seek out an abundance of nature that she continually examines in her art. Krista graduated with a Bachelor of Communication Design from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2000. She worked as a designer and illustrator until she began to focus on painting in 2015.
