Golya Mirderikvand
Golya Mirderikvand is a contemporary painter, based in Vancouver, BC. Through her practice, she has explored oil, acrylic, and watercolour painting for a number of years. She holds a Masters degree in Art Conservation, completed at Queen’s University, with a specialization in the conservation and restoration of paintings. In addition to her painting and art restoration skills, she also has been involved in various creative endeavours, creating opportunities for the community to engage and benefit from art. She also has experience in curating and coordinating exhibitions. Some of the arts organizations that she has worked at include the National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa), Museum of Anthropology (Vancouver), Intermuseum Conservation Association (Cleveland, OH), and Stichting Restauratie Atelier Limburg (Netherlands).
She has had exhibitions in various venues in Metro Vancouver and is an exhibiting member at the Federation of Canadian Artists.
Golya lives and works in Vancouver. Her studio is located at 1000 Parker Street Studios.
