I work primarily in oil painting and create drawings in ink and pencil, with a focus on bold figures, nudes, nature, and still life. My work is driven by a fascination with light — how it touches subjects, shapes forms, and casts reflective shadows. Whether in the curves of the human body or the delicate petals of a flower, light and shadow become central characters in my compositions, revealing subtle nuances and creating moments of quiet intensity. I believe that beauty can be found in the smallest of details, as much as in the quick, passing glance of things around us. My work invites the viewer to pause and indulge in these moments I’ve captured—those brief instances where light, form, and shadow come together in harmony. Each piece is an exploration of what is seen and felt in the present, capturing the essence of a moment that often escapes our notice.
