Mixed Media
Claire is a graduate of Sheridan College, where she pursued the Craft and Design Glass program, igniting her passion for the medium of glass. After refining her skills through extensive experience with established artists, she launched her own practice in 2019. Her work has evolved to consistently engage with themes such as feminism, capitalism, and social justice.
Recently, Claire has broadened her portfolio to include larger-scale projects, including several outdoor installations and her inaugural solo exhibition in Montreal. Her work has been featured in numerous juried group exhibitions, and she has a piece in the permanent collection of the Niagara Falls History Museum. Claire has held artist residencies at Salem Artworks in New York State, Sheridan College, and The Living Arts Centre in Ontario. Additionally, she has served as an Artist Assistant at Pilchuck Glass School, demonstrating her adaptability in diverse environments and collaborative settings.
While glass remains her primary medium, Claire is committed to continual experimentation with processes and materials, pushing the boundaries of her ideas and advancing her development as a conceptual artist.
