Shannon Stewart, founder of Adornation Jewellery, is a goldsmith and jewellery designer living in East Vancouver and creating in the historic 1000 Parker Street Studios. Shannon's work focuses on organic textures achieved through traditional goldsmithing techniques and pairing these textures with precise, geometric shapes. The artist draws her inspiration from the fine details in nature, and the slowness of traditional techniques. She is drawn to simplicity and minimalism, which tends to show itself in all of her work. Adornation Jewellery has a line of modern, minimal jewellery for women. Shannon also creates bespoke wedding and commitment jewellery for clients of all genders across Canada. Shannon was an award winning graduate of the Jewellery Art and Design Program at Vancouver Community College in 2007 and has continued to hone her craft ever since. She has had her jewellery featured at Vancouver Fashion Week 2009 and 2018.
