Corrina Hammond will demonstrate two types of weaving on two different looms; weft faced weaving, a technique used for rug making and bag making, as well as cloth weaving, revealing how typical fabrics used in garment making and domestic textiles are handwoven. Corrina’s demonstration will use typical house hold floor looms, a variety common in homes prior to the industrial revolution.
