Seeing the Abstract Colour Form—A Poster Study Demo

The poster study is a colour study tool that helps figure painters (and all painters) abstract the subject to see colour harmony, develop atmosphere, and visualize forms in space. Rooted in academic painting, we start with a simple block-in then, colour mixing and constructing the poster.
