Pirouette- Encaustic Fibre Art Installation

This installation evokes a dance of blossoms in motion, each form bursting with vitality and imagination. Sculpted from encaustic beeswax layered over recycled upholstery fabric, the display combines luminosity with a sense of natural movement. Spun fibers twist and spiral into vibrant formations that cast evocative shadows as they catch the light, their surfaces revealing colour shifts with every angle of view. The floral garden hovers in space like airborne pirouettes, suggesting both fragility and exuberance. At once organic and ethereal, the installation transforms simple materials into radiant gestures of rhythm, flight, and the fleeting brilliance of nature’s ballet.
