Hi there 👋 I am Ucodia, also known as Lionel Ringenbach, a software engineer and visual artist living in East Van on the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh peoples. In 2014, I discovered that code was a paintbrush that could allow me to create anything I wanted, and thus started the journey into my own inner creative world, through means of algorithms, bugs and glitches. In 2020, I then discovered the pen plotter, a machine which allowed me to bring my digital art into the physical world through means of paper, ink, paint or anything on which I could trace on and trace with.
