Syd Larcher is a ceramic artist from “Vancouver”. Her work focuses on asymmetry and imperfection, while also remaining mostly functional and minimal. Her works aims to highlight the processes within the ceramic work- such as finger dimples, finger marks in glazing, and slight irregularities in shape. Her glazing technique is fast-moving and she embraces the unpredictability of the process. She is the co-founder of pot spot studio (@potspotstudio) and teaches pottery classes and workshops.
