For this year’s Crawl, Masik opens her studio to the public. ( The Vessel!!) This a rare opportunity to experience her work up close. She unveils a striking new series of hand-painted clay vessels, KAMA plates, and a singular Kintsugi black clay vessel, each piece translating her painterly language into sculptural form.
Also featured: a massive 7’ x 11’ painting in progress and select recent works created since she closed her 10,000 sq. ft. studio in 2018 to make the world her studio. Visitors may even catch her painting live — an exclusive glimpse into the evolution of one of Vancouver’s most dynamic contemporary artists.
