Michelle Mathias loves to people watch.  When she walks to her studio at 312 Main Street, she takes snap shots with her mind's eye to use later as reference for painting urbanites.  She paints people from all walks of life, sometimes focusing on the extreme.  Mathias graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with distinction in the Fine Arts program.  Her paintings are urban narratives.  She has been in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Canada, the US, France & Miami.
