Katherine Duclos is an internationally exhibiting multi-media artist with her MFA from Pratt Institute, best known for her
Lego artwork, thanks to a
documentary the Lego Group produced about her in late 2023. Her work currently delves deep into neurodivergence, parenthood, and reframing identity mid life through a variety of conceptual and material explorations with many non-traditional mediums like Lego bricks, Bubblewrap, windowscreen, and the left over bits and pieces from domestic and parenting life. She is PDA Autistic with ADD, prolific in her making, does not take herself too seriously, has a husband that is the best thing she's ever found on the internet, and two wildly talented neurodivergent children who dictate most of her life. She is full of surprises and contradictions and works on many ideas at once. Her next solo show will be in January at the ACT Gallery in Mapleridge.
