I am a 27 year old self taught potter who has been working with clay since I was 16 and pursuing it professionally for the past four years. I aim to create home dishware that is both visually beautiful and highly functional. I learned the basics under Peggy Elms in Mill Bay BC, and received technical guidance from Dan Krystalowich in Victoria. I have since produced over 7,000 pots, and have begun the road to mastering the craft. I currently sell at farmers markets and through eight retail partners across BC, including the Audain Art Museum and Side Street Studio. I have been transitioning down to the city from Whistler, where I called home for 4 years, and many of my pots are inspired by Binty Massey a local Whistler potter, and his use of Wax Resist and powerful Colours.
