The forces and forms of Mother Earth inspire my exploration of 3-dimensional sculpture in rock and clay.
There are environments which speak to me at a cellular level, like the alpine tundra in Yukon’s Tombstone Range – at once crushingly harsh and exquisitely fragile; and, BC’s west coast, where the inexorable power of the Pacific swell crashes into millennia-old reefs, surge channels, rock crushed beaches, and their flora and fauna. Their forms and the tenacity of their creatures, tug at my soul—leave me awestruck.
