Carol Mac is an abstract painter and graphic designer based in Vancouver, BC. Inspired by lived experiences in both Australia and Canada, her work explores identity, personal growth, and the evolving concept of home by merging botanical and land elements from different environments. She creates a visual dialogue between memory and place, past and present, examining how familiar forms take on new meaning within everyday surroundings. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Class 1 Honours from the Queensland College of Art and Design and a Diploma of Graphic Design. Alongside her art practice, she works professionally as a freelance graphic designer.
