Annie Axtell is a screen printer and designer. A central component of her practice is the Lunar Calendar. A design that has been re-imagined annually since 2012. It balances practicality and ornament as it tracks the phases of the moon, encouraging us to stay connected with our celestial bodies. Annie has maintained a studio practice since graduating with her BFA in Montreal, moving to San Francisco and now Vancouver now for the past 6 years. Her passion for learning new processes and exploring materials has led her to develop a collection of soft sculptures. Pillows that are interactive, functional and fun. Each piece is handmade in her Vancouver studio.
