About the artistDavid Crompton is a visual artist based in Vancouver. Since graduating from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 1999, his work has been screened and exhibited at galleries, festivals, and on media channels in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. David’s work is included in the collection of the Marshall McLuhan Salon at the Canadian Embassy in Berlin and his projects have been awarded grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the BC Arts Council. Crompton has published a number photography-based artist books–most recently "Surrounded," a five-volume collection of publications focusing on work from 2013-2017.
