An online benefit and festival launch event

Celebrate 26 years of art creation at the Culture Crawl’s 2022 fundraiser and festival launch!

The Eastside Arts Society is pleased to announce our 2022 Take Flight, the official launch and benefit for the Eastside Culture Crawl. This year’s event features an online silent auction, as well as the return of our wildly popular Art Roulette. New this year is an intimate Collector’s Cocktail Party for Art Roulette ticket-holders!

Silent Auction

Our Silent Auction features an amazing array of items including: Sechelt and Whistler Get Away packages, Burrowing Owl Winery double magnum, Fluevog Shoes gift card, art workshops from Culture Crawl artists, plus many more! Check out the whole collection of fabulous items and get bidding! The auction opens October 11th and closes November 5, 2022 at midnight.

Art Roulette

Not eligible for tax receipt as artwork exceeds ticket price. Only 30 tickets available.

Don’t miss our fun annual art draw! There are 30 fabulous pieces to choose from and each person who purchases a ticket will go home with an original piece of art.  Participants rank all art and will receive their top-ranked art available at the time their number gets drawn.

Art Roulette ticket-holders are invited to celebrate and collect the artwork they’ve won at our Collector’s Cocktail Party November 5th from 6-8pm at Georgia Art Studios. Ticket-holders will enjoy complimentary wine, beer, cocktails and appetizers, all included in the price of their Art Roulette ticket. Guest tickets are available for $25 + GST, as capacity is limited, ticket-holders are limited to one guest ticket each. Please note, the Art Roulette draw is conducted prior to the cocktail party.

Your Support Means A Lot

Supporting Take Flight enables an entire community of artists to have professional opportunities like the 26th Annual Culture Crawl and the Create! Arts Festival, as well as provide in-studio art workshops for 220 inner city youth and develop an Eastside Arts District. By participating in this benefit, the public galvanizes EAS’s work in making the Eastside Arts District the vibrant neighbourhood we know and love – and will ensure we can continue to bring our community together through art for decades to come. ART HAPPENS HERE!
