Artist Agreement
Within the Crawl Boundaries
I regularly work out of my studio, which is located within the Crawl boundaries of Main Street to Victoria Drive, and 1st Avenue to the waterfront.
No Subletting
I will not sublet my studio or rent out space to other artists specifically for the Crawl event. I understand that the Eastside Culture Crawl is a public studio visit with artists in their own workspace. Each artist registers individually regardless of whether the work is a collaboration, collective etc.
Visual Artwork
My artwork is original visual artwork that I produce and is attributed to me. Although I may use other people or services to assist me in the production of my artwork, it is not mass-produced. I understand that mass-produced work, and other non-visual artworks and/or consumable products such as food and culinary arts for eg. are not eligible.
I will not serve alcohol during Crawl hours.
I will have my studio open for the Crawl hours and I will be present in my studio.
Liability Insurance
I understand that the ECCS advises all Crawl participants to secure liability insurance for their studio.
Artist Agreement
I have read the “Artist Agreement” and understand the details and my responsibilities. I will indicate that I have read, understand, and agree with these conditions before I register for the Eastside Culture Crawl event.
Violations
I understand that as a participating artist, if I am found to violate any part of the artist agreement as set out in the artist agreement, I will not be permitted to register the following year.
