Enterprising Women Making Art (EWMA) is a development initiative of Atira Women’s Resource Society that focuses on supporting women in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. The EWMA Studio is a safe space for all women and women-identified folks to make art, learn new skills, and create marketable products. In the EWMA Store, we promote and sell these works, generating safe and secure income for the artists. EWMA is a community-based initiative that works with and celebrates the talents of its participants, contributes to their community, and supports their personal and economic empowerment.
